As long as I can recall I have been drawing and making marks. As a child I would flip through magazines, books and comics to find images that caught my eye so that I could try to faithfully reproduce them in pencil. I kept that practice all throughout school and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. In college, I learned to paint in oil and incorporate other mediums in my work. Since graduating, I have travelled, lived abroad, continued art studies informally, gone back to school to get an MBA and worked in many different fields, but at the end of the day, I always come back to what I love, creating art. 

I live and work in Charleston, West Virginia out of my home studio.  I enjoy drawing and painting a wide range of subject matter, but I enjoy portraiture the most. In addition to faces and the human form, I also find inspiration in nature and the natural world.
